February 28th was my last day as an employee at the Poynter Institute, so I'm now working full time on the Enthusiast Group. Quite a few people noticed my career change and heard about this new enterprise; some blogged it. Ergo, some of you have come to this website to find out what I'm up to.

You can read the basics of what we're doing on the About page. But we're still in stealth mode for just a little longer.

This website is NOT the business; it's the beginning of our corporate site. Our real business is in running a network of citizen-media-driven websites about adventure and participatory sports and activities. Almost ready is our mountain-biking site, headed up by pro biker Walker Thompson. Then you'll see more sites covering other sports and activities in the coming months.

Enthusiast Group LLC is based in Boulder, Colorado. We're starting out with a great group of angel investors who share our vision. We'll have more to reveal soon.
